Korean Techno Electronics has developed an ultra-small T-DMB (Terrestrial Digital Multimedia Broadcasting) receiver module conforming to industrial standards. The module boasts a 40% decrease in volume in comparison with existing models, thereby significantly reducing production costs. It can be used in car navigation systems, notebook PCs, and mobile phones, and is able to shift to DAB (Digital Audio Broadcasting) mode, which can lower power consumption and thus extend operating time. Techno Electronics has finished testing the module and will start shipments in the near future.
